Kings Court is a collection of four mews-style homes that are part of a vibrant alley community in a charming residential pocket of Capitol Hill. Alongside a community garden and a group of artist studios, these two-story, single-family homes replaced a handful of underutilized garage structures and are entirely new construction. After assembling the properties and bringing utilities to the site, Monarch Urban worked diligently with its design and construction team to create modern residences that honor the look and feel of historic alley homes. The homes include 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, private outdoor space, luxury kitchens, and heated garages with electric vehicle charging. Despite complicated alley rules, Monarch Urban leveraged its extensive local knowledge of land use regulations to complete this project without requiring any variances or special approvals.
